Good to hear. Out of my element. Just sort of happened. It's a little head scratching there aren't many books about the South as a whole during WWII. Maybe too big. Many books on Southern states, cities, specific industries, etc. I was going down the list of POW camps in the South, some have nothing written about them. There are books on camps in several of the states, almost nothing on the topic in Georgia.

The South was used for a lot of maneuvers. Louisiana in 1941, middle TN in 1943. Imagine Papaw and Nanaw on the front porch watching some whistledick LT botching land nav through their corn field.
