In March, I visited the Tennessee State Library and Archives to track down a few hard-to-find essays by M.E. Bradford. While there, I came across the first issue of Southern Partisan, a publication from 1979 that looks as though it was produced on a typewriter and is likely very rare. I’ve been working on transcribing it, off and on, ever since. This will be brief since most of my time went into reconstructing the issue itself. So here it is: Southern Partisan, Volume 1. I’ll attach the original scans as well, as I’m sure I missed a few errors.
